This project was about the Marine Terminal Lofts, located at 311 E Erie St, Milwaukee, WI 53202. Each student was provided a real-life client and tasked with designing a 1500 sq. ft. apartment based on their wants and needs. My client was Sam and in her free time, you can find her digging through crates at the record store, standing in front of the Mark Rothko painting at the Milwaukee Art Museum, or on a park bench, nose-deep in a novel.

The goal of this design was to accommodate both Sam’s work and personal life. Creating both spaces to hone in their practice and space to relax and host family. Also to incorporate a it of a 70s feel, including pops of color and textures.
