Zimmerman: Birthing Suite

Alongside the team at Zimmerman Architectural Studios, students were tasked with designing a hospital floorplan along with a labor and delivery room and its immediate, related support spaces.

Through this project, students would gain an understanding of healthcare planning and design through a focused study of labor and delivery patient rooms.

Each group worked together to create a single floorplan and then individually each student produced their labor and delivery suite design.
