This project tasked each student to create their own design of the provided options: Specialty Cafe, Restaurant, Movie Theater, Event Hall, Art Gallery, Retail Shop, Fitness Center, or Arcade — inside of a storefront in Bronzeville (Doctor M.L.K. Jr. Dr, Milwaukee).

The storefront is a collection of three units with a unit in the middle that is currently in use. Students had to keep into account what they thought would be best for the community, the other tenants in the building, and their privacy, and also the budget of $175,000 ($200,000) for Design Fees, Construction/Renovation Materials, Material/Finishes, and Furniture/Equipment.
